I’ve been looking for inspiration lately and happily found Penelope Illustration. Based out of Indian, Penelope Dullaghan’s whimsical nature has drawn many. Her work can be seen in many magazines and catalogs. I personally love her drawings and hope to hang some at home some day soon. She also sells prints off her site. Check out her blog here and a few of my favorite snapshots.

I’ve been slacking with my blog due to a new full-time job I got two weeks ago…I’m going to try and keep up this week. Even though I have less creative play time now, I do still have tons and tons of projects and creative do-it-yourself projects I want to tackle. Take a look at some the beautiful fabric from Henry Road. All of these fabrics can be made into fun bags, journals, pouches, etc. Here are some of my fav’s from their site. Take a look at these great project guides here and here.

Recycling Top 10 Comments Off

For my next top 10, I decided to pay homage to all the creative people out there putting a new meaning to recycling. From re-used CDs & cassette tapes for pencils to re-purposed rice sacks and soccer balls for bags, these online shops carry some of the coolest recycled items out there. My personal favorite are here below. Recycle by supporting the re-usage of these items…support Mother Earth!

Cavern’s Blackbird 1 comment

So- as usual, I’ve been filing away my favorite decorating ideas for my one day dream house. During my web searches, I came across Cavern’s beautiful blackbird wallpaper. It’s featured in five colors: kraft, snow, brown, green & white. It makes me think of a dreamy forest from a fairytale. Might be a little pricey for a whole room, but maybe just an accent wall. They go for $155/roll. Take a look at the fun glam shots. Can not wait to start decorating!
